Women’s Study led by Anne Brassard. 9:30 -11:00 am. The Thursday morning Women’s group has been meeting for many years, providing a safe place to study God’s word and share life with other women who love the Lord.
We gather in the pastor’s office around 9:30am full of chatter and laughter. As we quiet our hearts, we go around the table and each of us has the opportunity to offer praise and concerns before the Lord in prayer. When we have completed the circle, we often will delve a little deeper into the things brought up at this time.
After our prayer time we begin our study of God’s word. This always includes scripture reading and a guided lesson depending on the current resource being used. We’ve used videos, LifeGuide Bible Studies, stand alone books, and of course, always, God’s word. All of us are encouraged to participate in every discussion but without pressure to do so.
Sometimes we are just led to sit with a sister and hear about what she may be going through. At those times we follow the lead of the Holy Spirit and understand that we don’t need to be rigid about our agenda that day.
All we discuss remains confidential within the group and it has become a safe place to share and receive encouragement and prayer. We are currently doing a deep dive into the Book of Hebrews with a LifeGuide study. We would love to have you join us as we study and celebrate our faith!
