My wife, Michele, and I have been attending Harvest Community Church for more than 20 years. Like many, I grew up attending church where I understood there was a God but not necessarily having a relationship with Jesus.

Although I cannot point to a specific time when I put my faith in Jesus, in my young adult years, I observed the incredible order and complexity of the natural world and became more convinced of an all-powerful creator (Psalm 19:1).

Later, as a young married man, when I held our first son in my arms, it became more evident of a need for a savior and God’s divine intervention to direct and grow our family.

A number of years later, when we were searching for a biblically sound church for our family, we came across Harvest at the suggestion of a friend. We heard that this small congregation was faithfully serving the homeless in Woonsocket.

Drawn in by the fact the body of Harvest was actually walking the walk – being the hands and feet of Jesus to the needy in their community – we began attending. We were astonished not only by the commitment of the members, but also the depth and quality of the teaching.

Over twenty years later, I am blessed to be serving the Lord in various ministries along with an amazing team of Deacons at Harvest. God has demonstrated His faithfulness in incredible ways over the years, both personally and in the body, and my relationship with the Lord has become stronger and deeper (Philippians 1:6).
