Redemption Stories are interviews conducted by Jim Huling with individual believers at Harvest to capture their journey of faith with Jesus.
Jim writes: “One morning while sitting in church, the Holy Spirit filled my heart. Without hearing I heard Him say, ‘Get people to talk about the moment when they accepted Jesus as their Savior.’ I obeyed!”
Redemption Stories serve a number of wonderful purposes at Harvest Community Church.
First, the reader is blessed. The church gets to know a fellow brother or sister in Christ in ways they normally would not – they read about how they first received Jesus, and how their lives have been forever changed because of it.
But the one telling his or her story is also blessed! They want to tell their story – everybody wants to tell his or her story – and everyone’s story is important and gives glory to the Lord. So, the reader is blessed and the teller is blessed, feeling loved and heard.
